It has been a week ! Phew !

I’m really excited and happy that it has been a week…

We offically released dev \ efor and since then, we fixed 3 bugs pointed out by community…

Untill now, everything looks über good and dev \ efor seems sharp.. we’ve reached over 40 countries and my bet is, community found dev \ efor quite interesting and everything seems cool..except one thing…

Some colleagues from community noticed that the dependecy about VJ# redistributable is not quite “cool”..  and actually, the dev \ efor team agrees with them..

Ready for cool news ? We are refactoring the charting ui with the cool charting component Nplot and we are planning to get rid of VJ# dependecy at the Beta 2 release of community edition ! So guys, keep smiling please, it looks good on you ;)

What else… ? NPlot provides many cool features about charting so, all those cool features will be a part of dev \ efor, therefore, get ready to experience new features at beta 2 release…

So, when beta 2 will be ready ? very soon.. just a blink and there you go : ) as they said, “release early, release often” :)

Keep an eye on us and doing so requires your e-mail : ) subscribe to our mailing list and you will be notified about our new releases and don’t worry, we hate spam as much as you do ;)

Hello World !

Finally.. After hard work of a year..!

We released dev \efor which is a Visual Studio plug-in that helps you monitor your software development progress while you are developing your software…

So, what dev \ efor do ?

While you are developing your software, dev \ efor captures your Software Metrics at every successful build and stores it..

In addition to this, it captures your events while you are using Visual Studio, therefore, the dev \ efor sensor knows wheter you are actively using Visual Studio or not.

Then, we generate necessary charts which will help you to see the trend of your metrics such as lines of code, cyclomatic complexity, maintainability index etc. ( which will guide you about the quality of your code ) and how much actual time you spent doing it. ( development efforts )

We believe, capturing these metrics and generating the trend in real time will help developers, code walkers and other stakeholders a lot about the real production information.

So, please give dev \ efor a try and let us know what you think ! we would be greatful to hear your thoughts…
